Once again this year, ABT’s powerful racing and road cars thrilled the audience at the Essen Motor Show. The Kempten-based company was represented at several stands: ABT’s GT3 Lamborghini cars and an ABT S5 were on display at Red Bull and H&R’s stands. ABT shared a space with its tyre partner Continental, where the ABT high-performance models XGT, RSQ8-LE and RS3-R were admired by curious car enthusiasts.

Surprising award for ABT Sportsline: The team received the “AUTO BILD SPORTSCARS Editorial Award 2025” for its recently announced cooperation with CUPRA on a number of special models. With its inclusion in the Spanish brand’s official portfolio, ABT has achieved “a memorable success that crowns its professional and wide-ranging tuning offering with official manufacturer approval.”

Motorsport

The Formula E World Championship kicked off its new season in early December with the race in São Paulo. ABT is part of the Lola Yamaha ABT team and achieved a respectable result in the city race on the famous carnival grounds with youngster Zane Maloney, who scored his first Formula E point.

When Daniel Abt stands in front of the camera with his father Hans-Jürgen Abt, the hearts of the audience beat faster. Now all fans can look forward to a special highlight: an episode of the series “A lap with …” not only features exciting background information on the family history, but also a comeback by the CEO of the ABT Group in the racing Lupo. The video will be online from Thursday.

Tuning

From newcomer to customer favourite: The ABT EVO sports wheel in “glossy black”, which made its debut in the package for the ABT SQ5, is enjoying growing popularity. Athletic, defined, not a gram too much.

ABT was a guest at the Audi driving experience at the Silesia Ring in Poland, together with its Polish partner Pachura Moto Center: While customers were able to improve their driving skills under the guidance of instructors, an ABT RS7-LE 1,000 hp and an ABT RSQ8 Signature Edition were on display in the entrance area of the racetrack. The centre of attention: the spectacular ABT XGT, which was parked in its own garage.
