MAHLE Launches New Energy Hub Accessory

Ultra-light platform streamlines the External Battery eX1 charging process.

Minimalist charger can also be converted into a mobile power bank, making it a versatile energy source for other devices when on the go.

Cover features an integrated USB-C cable, making it an ideal choice for both adventurous and tech-savvy cyclists.

MAHLE SmartBike Systems is launching a new accessory that revolutionizes the way eBike users charge their electronic devices. The Energy Hub is a minimalist, lightweight charging device which allows users of X20 and X30 System eBikes to charge the external battery eX1 anytime, anywhere. The new charging platform is 90 millimeters in diameter and weighs in at a mere 181 grams. When paired with the external battery eX1, it provides power via a standard USB-C port. In this way, the Energy Hub also transforms the external battery eX1 into a versatile power bank – keeping cyclists’ devices charged and connected, even when on the go. This multifunctional device complements the existing range of versatile and practical accessories for the X20 and X30 System.

This small and compact accessory opens up a world of possibilities for users seeking to combine their passion for cycling with an adventurous and technological lifestyle. No matter where a cyclist’s journey takes them, the Energy Hub’s USB-C integrated cover means a cable is always within reach, allowing the charging of electric devices such as lights, mobile phones, cameras, and even a bike’s electronic groupset.
